With the Nostromo Array Programming Software you get increase functionality and customization, allowing you to remap your controller however you like depending on what games you are playing. The Nostromo Array Programming Software is a suite of tools that enhances your gaming experience when using the Nostromo Game Controllers. See Making a Profile section for additional details on creating new profiles. Select the Profile you would like to use and click Open. This will take you to your Profile Folder where your profiles are normally stored. Then select the Open icon in the taskbar of Open in the File Menu. Г To select a profile, open the Nostromo Array Programming Software Profile Editor. Г The Nostromo Array Programming Software comes with pre-made profiles. Г Double click on on your desktop, or find the Nostromo Array Programming Software in the Start Menu, Program Files. Г Start the Nostromo Array Programming Software Г Continue to follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. Г Connect your Nostromo game controller to an available USB port on your computer. Г After the installation is done, select Finish and proceed to installing your game controllers. Г In the next window, select Next to start the installation. This will make it easier and quicker to use the software in the future. Also, it is highly recommended to place shortcuts for the Profile Editor and Loadout Manager on your desktop.

Г The next screen asks you about the installation folder for the installation. If you do not accept the agreement installation will stop. Click on the appropriate spot to accept the agreement.

Г The first screen welcomes you to the Nostromo installation. Г Follow the on screen instructions to continue with the software installation. If it doesnвЂ™t, click the Start Button and Choose RUN. Г Insert your Nostromo Array Programming Software into your CD/DVD drive on your computer. All you have to do is plug it in and play. If you wish, your Nostromo controller will work perfectly fine without installation of the software on the CD. You will be able to customize any Nostromo game controller for each game you play. Г Installation of the Nostromo Array Programming Software on the enclosed CD will give you added functionality and programming options.

If you are using Windows 2000, please be sure to plug in your gamepad before installing any software on the enclosed CD. I picked up all three on for 1/2 price each.Your Nostromo Array Programming Software will work with any Win98, Win2000 or Win ME game. Not just for me, but for a couple/few other draftsmen here also use the n52te. 12 commands on my right thumb and 81 commands on my left hand.I definately don't use them all and still use the keyboard for some commands, but putting my most commonly used commands on these devices has made drafting a LOT quicker. Kinda OT: I have to say, using this setup has saved me quite a bit of drafting time, as all commands are at my fingertips. You can always map this to a different key on your keyboard, too.Д«asically, if you lookup a Nostromo keypad, I have 03 as Shift, 04 as F8.so if I hold 03 and tap 04, it's just like hitting Shift+F8 on my keyboard Again, I'm just sharing my solution that I found on my own. If someone has a better solution, I'm always open to suggestion. So now, I don't have to move my hand to quickly toggle ortho, osnap or hold shift to deselect objects. I copied the macro, created a new command, pasted in the macro and tied that command to Shift+F8. However, I couldn't find the toggle command for Osnap. I wanted a way to map Shift+F8 to toggle my Osnap. I mapped ortho to one key on the n52, but all my other keys are in use. I hate having to hit function (F keys) to toggle snaps and ortho, which I'm constantly popping on and off. I use my gamepad a LOT! I have multiple profiles on all devices set to auto-app-switch between AutoCAD, Revit, Office and Windows.

I don't know about others, but I'm running a Belkin n52te (Razer Nostromo) game pad, Razer Naga mouse and Razer Lycosa keyboard.
